My mother called me early this morning after seeing the news on the protests. I was entitled to a long lecture about what was going on, and if I was getting involved, and if I was getting involved how much it was okay to get involved. And do I not think that my job is too dangerous? Why am I not home yet? When will I be home? Do they realize that they're keeping me from home? And do I really think about how dangerous my job is?

I was almost able to respond.

Parece que no habrá fin de. ..activities con respecto a la integración. Muchos expresan sus opiniones y hay bastante la gran variedad de opiniones para ser oída. Qué es inquietante es la violencia que ya ocurre, una solución que también es recurrido a fácilmente una vez más.

Qué me preocupa sobre todo es el regreso de la Marca Oscura. Que cualquiera estaría dispuesto a utilizar el símbolo He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named para hablar francamente contra la integración es un signo fuerte de la emoción verdaderamente.

Translation:
It does seem that there will be no end of...activities in regards to integration. Many are expressing their opinions and there are quite the wide range of opinions to be heard. What is worrisome is the violence that is already occurring, a solution that is being too easily resorted to once again.

What worries me most of all is the return of the Dark Mark. That anyone would be willing to use the symbol He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named in order to speak out against integration is a strong sign of emotion indeed.

I have not seen any sign of returned dead yet, but I have not been here terribly long either. And it is possible that they are not here.
